There is an exclusive beverage on the market that I just learned about. It is called underWAY and not only does it taste dreamy it is an appetite suppressant. The drink works by curbing your hunger in two ways—it is specially formulated to slow down absorption of what is already in your stomach and its unique ingredients stimulate your stomach telling your brain that you have consumed more calories than you really have. Does it work? I am not sure! I had it with a pack of multi-grain crackers this morning with some peanut butter and I did feel fuller longer. I really did enjoy the Orange taste and appreciated the nutritionals. The entire bottle only had 20 calories and contained B vitamins to boot. Would I drink it again? You bet.

In the Zulu language the word Vuka means “wake up” which is a perfect name for an energy drink! Now the cool thing about Vuka besides the racy aluminum bottles is that each formula is made for a specific occasion made with all natural ingredients and absolutely no preservatives.
Upside: These tasted great with flavors like Awaken Orange, Renew Mango Peach, Think Pomegranate Lychee and Workout Berry Lemonade (my fave) there was something for all tastes.
Downside: No “light” versions. I did hop on their website though and see that this is being solved! Light versions sweetened with Stevia extract coming soon! YEA!

I didn’t have to think to hard to come up with a trendy word to say about GT’s Synergy Drinks and that word is RAWSOME (RAW + AWESOME = RAWSOME). Put Your Day in Overdrive

Before I hit the gym this afternoon I grabbed an energy drink out of the fridge to take with me while I worked out. I try to work out at least 2 hours or so a day. On some days I just don’t feel like being at the gym for over an hour even. Do you ever have that feeling? Well if you don’t that’s awesome, but I do and I’m not afraid to admit it. So, about half way through my workout I just wanted to go home and make dinner but I always feel bad for leaving so early so I grabbed my HyDrive Energy Drink and went back to the stair machine. I was about half way through my 60 min workout on the stair machine and I had completely downed my Blue Raspberry Energy Drink. I had enough strength and energy to push through the last 30 min. of my routine. This energy drink by HyDrive is non-carbonated and only contains 30 CALORIES, That’s It! The blue raspberry drink has many good vitamins and nutrients including: B12, maca root, ginkgo biloba, D- ribose, and L-leucine. HyDrive also has grape fusion, kiwi strawberry, citrus burst, lemon lime, and triple berry flavors. Blue raspberry is definitely my favorite. They also came out with energy soft chews that melt in your mouth not in your gym bag!
