Saturday Cheat Treat

I was finally able to try these magnificent looking and tasting chocolates by Gail Ambrosius. Each one was topped perfectly and looked beautiful sitting in its box, I did not know where to start. I took out the handy guide inside and was amazed by the variety of rare tastes all contained in my box of chocolates. I started with a salted caramel and was amazed by the richness of the caramel and how well the sea salt accented the taste. Then wrapped in orange foil was a perfectly shaped truffle dusted in cocoa powder. It was hands down my favorite. Dense and fudge-like-- especially heavy on the chocolate just how I love it.
